Saturday 21st March, 10:00am to 4:00pm
Parkinson Building, University of Leeds
Some of the CDT Bioenergy and DTC Low Carbon Technologies students helped out during this free, public event in the Parkinson Court at the University of Leeds on Saturday 21st March 2015. The event was designed to show the importance of Engineering disciplines with exciting activities for those passing by to look at and get involved with. The students had their own stand, demonstrating interactive, hands-on activities related to their field which everyone of all ages enjoyed. Visitors enjoyed seeing demonstrators from other Engineering disciplines over the University of Leeds, such as Medical, Civil and Electrical Engineering. This event was part of the University’s STEM scheme and the Leeds Festival of Science Public Programme.
