During the last week of June, Bioenergy CDT student Hana Mandová attended the 12th IEA Greenhouse Gas Programme (IEAGHG) Summer School, hosted by the Norwegian CCS Research Centre in Trondheim. She was one out of 50 students from all around the world, who have been selected to come and enhance their knowledge on CCS (carbon capture and storage). During the busy six days, the programme covered presentations on various aspects related to the CCS deployment. Students also visited SINTEF and NTNU laboratories, worked on answers to the “burning” CCS questions and had a unique chance to discuss their PhD research with over 20 different experts in the field of CCS.
